Former Brass Founders

The works consisted of the full demolition of the redundant Princess works factory buildings to enable the redevelopment of Scotland Street, Sheffield.

The operations of the job were carried out as follows:
1. Asbestos Removal Prior to Demolition activities (licensed asbestos removal contractor)
2. Issue of Service Disconnections (Create Construction Ltd)
3. Erect Demarcation zones (BHD)
4. Delivery of machines (BHD)
5. Delivery of Skips(BHD)
6. Commence Soft Strip (BHD)
7. Commence deconstruction following soft strip (BHD)
8. Removal of Waste (BHD)
9. Demobilisation (BHD)

The works commenced in November 2015 and were completed in February 2016 due to a slight set back in December from the Client. Our 90% recycling rate was met with no problems and zero accidents.
