Glaisnock Shopping Centre

The works consisted of deconstruction of the former redundant shopping centre including asbestos removal and breaking out the ground floor slab level and associated foundations.

The operations of the job were carried out as follows:

• Issue of Service Disconnections
• Site set up
• Delivery of Skips
• Soft strip and non-notifiable asbestos removal
• Notifiable asbestos removal
• Removal of Waste
• Erect Demarcation zones
• Delivery of machines
• Commence deconstruction
• Removal of slab and foundations
• Crushing
• Demobilisation

The works commenced in October 2016 and were completed in February 2017.
